Job Summary

This position performs semi-skilled or unskilled tasks in the upkeep and repair of the departments, facilities and grounds and is responsible for keeping the buildings and grounds clean, orderly, properly maintained and in compliance with District, County, State and Federal requirements on a day shift schedule.

TCDE pays up to $18,768 per year towards Health & Welfare benefits.

NOTE to TCDE employees:

Employees that apply for a promotional opportunity will typically be placed on step one of the new higher classification. If step one is lower than their current salary, they will be placed at a step that provides for at least a 5% increase. If they have previous experience in a same higher classification they will be placed commensurate with that verified experience (lower classification experience does not apply to higher classifications).
