BARTENDER Part Time Position

Salary: $10-$50 per hour (base pay + tips)
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week (3 shifts per week)

Job Description:
Were looking for a friendly, experienced, and responsible bartender to join our team. Conveniently located near MSU and Downtown Lansing. If you have a passion for customer service, a keen eye for cleanliness and organization, and a strong understanding of responsible alcohol service, we want to hear from you! Must be available to work approximately 3 shifts per week, totaling around 20 hours.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve drinks to customers in a professional and efficient manner

Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service

Ensure all patrons are served in a friendly, welcoming, and responsible manner

Stock and organize inventory, ensuring all supplies are readily available

Follow cash handling procedures and ensure accurate transactions

Keep track of bar tabs and process payments accurately

Adhere to all safety, health, and alcohol regulations

Qualifications:

Minimum 6 months of previous bartending experience required

Must be 18 years or older

Must be available to work 3 shifts per week (approximately 20 hours total)

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills and a personable, approachable attitude

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of alcohol laws and responsible service

Ability to monitor and control customer behavior to prevent over-service

Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system
