PART-TIME JANITOR
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time janitor to maintain cleanliness and 91 freeway CHP Scales Platform. This role requires the individual to perform janitorial duties, ensuring a clean and safe environment for employees and visitors at Eastbound station and the Westbound station. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while adhering to cleaning schedules and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Travel to different job sites as assigned, ensuring each location is properly cleaned and maintained.
-Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
-Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly.
-Clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
-Refill supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
-Perform minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or reporting facility issues.
-Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals properly.
-Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working conditions.
-Communicate with supervisors and site managers regarding any issues or supply needs.
-Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and respond to urgent cleaning requests as needed.
Qualifications:
-Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred required.
-Must have reliable transportation.
-Must be able to pass security background check
-Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
-Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
-Good communication and customer service skills.
