At Blue&Black, we offer top-tier barber services in a relaxed yet refined environment, combining grooming with a curated retail selection of unique personal care products. Since opening our doors 10 years ago, weve grown into one of the citys premier destinations for grooming.
The Opportunity:
We are hiring for a full-time Receptionist/Front Desk position, with the exciting opportunity to transition into a barbering role. Youll start by managing front-of-house duties while receiving hands-on training in barbering. Our program will teach you to cut and style all hair types, guided by our experienced barbers and stylists. The apprenticeship typically lasts 12 months and is state-licensed.
What Were Looking For:
The ideal candidate will bring:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage a dynamic environment
Sales experience (bonus if youre familiar with grooming products)
A genuine interest in barbering and personal care
A solid work ethic and positive attitude
The Role:
This is a full-time role in a fast-paced environment, requiring both physical tasks (be prepared to lift up to 40 lbs) and administrative skills. As part of our team, youll be on your feet throughout the day, tackling a variety of tasks to keep our shop running smoothly.
