Evening Custodians - Lamoille Union High School

Lamoille Union High School is dedicated to providing a clean and safe environment for students and staff. We are currently looking for two custodians to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and development.As a custodian at Lamoille Union High School, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the building. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will ensure a welcoming environment for all occupants. The ideal candidate will be self-reliant, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Duties:- Perform industrial cleaning tasks to uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards- Clean and disinfect restrooms, classrooms, and common areas- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors- Dust and sanitize surfaces- Clean windows and glass surfaces- Operate buffing machines to maintain floor appearance- Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as necessary- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities ManagerSkills- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is preferred but not required- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or collaboratively with a team- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisorsPlease note that this job description outlines primary responsibilities and qualifications.
