Restaurant Wine Buyer

Wine Buyer Responsibilities:

• Oversee and run wine inventory program of a high-volume restaurant
• Organize wholesale vendor trainings for FOH staff members
• Maintain inventory levels on budget
• Assist with wine service on the floor
• Leadership mentality during service

Wine Buyer Requirements:

• 2+ years of wine inventory and product management in a full-service dining environment or winery tasting room. The ideal candidate has experience with a sales volume of 5M or higher
• Understanding of inventory systems, reporting, and reconciliation
• Prior experience of placing wholesale orders
• Collaborate with vendors and management to ensure all events are stocked
• Coordinate staff trainings with wholesalers and local wineries
• Weekend work is required
