Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Bookkeeper - Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records related to property management, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Duties

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all accounts are properly accounted for.
Write detailed financial reports to communicate findings and insights to management.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Manage payroll processing for property staff, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and maintaining financial records efficiently.

Skills

Proficient in debits and credits with a strong foundation in accounting principles.
Experience in financial statement preparation and reporting.
Knowledge of governmental accounting practices is preferred.
Familiarity with securities law as it relates to property management is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform comprehensive financial analysis.
