Position Overview As a Server/Host at Pearl Box, youll be the first point of contact for our guests while also providing attentive, engaging table service. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment, can move seamlessly between greeting and seating guests, and delivering an exceptional dining and beverage experience.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome and greet all guests upon arrival.

  • Manage reservations and walk-ins using our booking system.

  • Communicate wait times and seating arrangements clearly.

  • Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortable.

  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.

  • Deliver menu items promptly while maintaining high service standards.

  • Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, personalized service.

  • Collaborate with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service flow.

  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting dining room and host stand.

  • Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of hospitality experience (serving, hosting, or both) in a high-volume or upscale environment preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities.

  • A polished, professional, and friendly demeanor.

  • Familiarity with POS and reservation systems a plus.

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to recognize notable celebrities and public figures, both within and outside the hospitality industry, is a plus as youll often be the first point of contact at the door.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $24.00) plus tips
