Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth operations within the restaurant. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart using Aloha POS or similar systems.
Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu items, wait times, and reservations.
Assist in managing the flow of guests during busy periods to ensure timely service.
Collaborate with Servers and kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction and address any needs promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, including menus and promotional materials.
Provide assistance to guests as needed, demonstrating excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with Aloha POS or other restaurant management software is a plus.
Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest interaction.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
A genuine desire to help others and provide outstanding customer service.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
