Job DetailsWe are seeking a passionate, skilled, and team-oriented Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team. As the Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Executive Chef to execute high-quality Mediterranean-inspired dishes, maintain kitchen efficiency, and ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Executive Chef in planning, preparing, and executing menu items to our exacting standards
Oversee daily kitchen operations and staff during service
Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishes
Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen team members
Monitor inventory, ordering, and food cost control
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Step into the role of Executive Chef when required
Qualifications:
5 years of culinary experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and cooking techniques preferred
Ability to lead and inspire a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) a plus
Compensation: Salary ($50,000.00 - $70,000.00)
