Job Description
The Anchorage Marriott Downtown Hotel is looking for a Line Cook to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity with potential for growth and personal development within the Hotel industry. This is a dynamic and fast paced work environment. The hotel has a full service restaurant, bar, room service, concierge lounge, exercise room, indoor pool and more than 10,000 sq. ft of functional event space.
Duties include-
Responsible for the Preparation of Food "To Order" for the Hotel Restaurant
Ensures Consistent Quality
Must Be Detail Oriented, Work Well in a Team Environment and Enjoys Serving Customers in a Positive, Friendly and Courteous Manner
Responsible for the preparation of food "to order" for the hotel restaurant and ensures consistent quality. You must be detailed oriented, works well in a team environment and enjoys serving customers in a positive, friendly and courteous manner.
Cooking Experience
Must Be Proficient at All Stations
Ability to Multitask
Able to do Repetitive Work
Able to Prepare Food According to Food Handler's Guidelines
Knowledge of Cooking Procedures
Knowledge of Kitchen Equipment
Knowledge of Where and How Everything is Stored
Label and Date ALL Food Stored & Rotate Food as Needed
Ability to Lift 50 Pounds
Able to Work All Shifts and Holidays
Be Able to Self-Motivate in Work Environment
Able to Follow Written or Verbal Instructions
