Maintenance Mechanic

Mechanic/Fleet Maintenance for hire. Roadhouse is an entertainer coach leasing company. We operate Prevost motor coaches with Volvo and Detroit engines. We are searching for a mechanic for medium engine and bus maintenance for a fleet comprising of 15 units. This includes engine work, generator, suspension, brake, and all misc motor coach maintenance. Jobs on outside equipment will be performed as well.

Description:

This is a specialist level, where Heavy Duty Diesel technicians are assigned responsibilities for performing highly skilled mechanical work in the repair and maintenance of coaches. Responsibilities may include trouble-shooting repair needs which are difficult to identify; independently completing major repair projects, or directing projects requiring a team effort, including supervision of others in the completion of some work.

Responsibilities:

Work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision

Diagnose and repair Electrical, HVAC, suspension, Pneumatic and Brake Systems

Conduct preventative maintenance on company owned Prevost Coaches. Oil/filter changes, transmission service, etc.

Diagnose and repair generators.

Comply with DOT physical standards

Lifting heavy objects

Creating estimates for customer job orders.

Standing long periods of time

Exposure to extreme weather variances

EPA certifications for the safe handling of refrigerant (not required)

Provide training, assistance, and mentoring of fellow coworkers

Respect and care for the customer and their equipment

Develop personal professional and technical skills on an ongoing basis

Foster teamwork and improved communications between sectors at all times

Respect the rules and guidelines of the company

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
