General Maintenance Worker- Intermittent Ridgewater College

To provide general custodial activities under general supervision for all state-owned structures, land and state-maintained structures and grounds. Duties are performed according to regularly assigned schedules with priority given to specific areas/locations. Activities may include light maintenance, operation of equipment as needed, routine cleaning and housekeeping, grounds keeping, special maintenance and repair activities, special events, and other related work as required to maintain a pleasant, healthful, aesthetic, and secure environment for all staff and clientele.RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTSTo clean and maintain a specific area so that activities can be conducted in a sanitary, functional environment.Operate, maintain, and make minor repairs on vacuums, auto scrubbers, roto, extractors, and other mechanical equipment so that cleaning and maintenance responsibilities are performed timely and efficiently. To make minor repairs in specific areas, ex.
