Must meet our age requirement of 18 years of age. What does a Poker Dealer in Training do? Ensure proper game security. Routinely check all gaming equipment and materials used in their area. Always appear alert and face forward. Accurately deal assigned poker games while monitoring guests' bets, paying out bets, and making change for guests. Maintain a game pace that is consistent with the table action. Demonstrate proficient knowledge of Poker policies and procedures. Consistently reflect a friendly, positive, and constructive approach to the game, the department, and the company. Maintain enthusiasm regardless of the Poker assignment. Ensure all players are presenting a Poker membership card at the time of play. Must be able to effectively interact with guests as their first point of contact; consistently responsive to guests. Work Experience To be successful as a Poker Dealer in Training, you'll need: A High School Diploma/G.E.D. A Poker Dealer Certification is required; previous experience may be substituted for certification. Previous experience as a poker dealer (preferred). A mathematical ability; counts cards, pays out bets, and makes change. The ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language; must continuously communicate with a degree of professionalism and accuracy . To be able to effectively interact with guests as their first point of contact; consistently responsive to guests. To be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required. To meet our age requirement of 18 years of age. To stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 31 - 40 pounds.
