Public Areas Porter-Full Time (Caesars Atlantic City)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills by displaying outlined service behaviors. Maintains an upbeat and positive attitude, creates positive energy with gestures and sustains enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates guests wins. Is ready to serve and is informed of daily information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service. Checks for satisfaction and effectively resolves service breakdowns when they exist. Promotes Caesars Rewards programs and card membership. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting.

Pans/brooms and cleans carpets, polishes furniture, marble, glass, brass, tile, etc. Responsible for picking up and breaking down scaffolding. Services assigned areas daily, cleaning of rest rooms, ash/trash urns and elevators. Completely clean entire Casino floor including, vacuuming gaming tables during down time. Must have Security escort when accessing restricted areas. Responsible for trash removal from all public and back of the house areas. Returns all housekeeping equipment to the stockroom at end of shift. Reports emergency repairs to Supervisor immediately and strictly adheres to key control policies. Completes special assignments for the Supervisor-Public Areas and above as requested.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to read and write English sufficiently to perform job. Ability to lift 40 lbs. Previous experience within public areas cleaning preferred.
