Resident is an experiential dining concept. We take over townhouses, penthouses, and other luxury spaces to host ticketed dinners, personal celebrations, team-building and client entertaining events, and wholly-owned brand experiences, featuring chefs from the worlds best restaurants. With experience at restaurants including Eleven Madison Park, Noma, Blue Hill Stone Barns, Atomix, and Per Se, we merge the quality of Michelin Star dining with the excitement of a dinner party.
JOB DETAILS
Resident is accepting applications for enthusiastic and experienced Lead Servers for employment (part-time or full-time options - you choose your schedule!). This is a freelance working environment- there is no inherent obligation to work for any shifts except those you apply for. When you sign up to work with Resident, you are signing up to receive opportunities. We use a scheduling app to manage our events and our team signs up for the shifts and locations they want. We are growing quickly and looking for new, amazing talent to add to the team!
Qualifications:
- Ability to work and multitask in a team environment
- Understanding the proper steps of service
- Resourceful, clean & organized working habits with attention to detail
- A warm, knowledgeable and professional demeanor
- Positive attitude
- Good sense of urgency
- Punctual
- Promptly respond to emails, Ubeya, and other scheduling requests
Responsibilities:
- Provide guests with the highest possible standard in service
- Event set-up and breakdown (including moving furniture)
- Food running, bussing and table maintenance
- Menu and beverage knowledge
- Work alongside Event Lead, Chef, Sommelier and additional staff as needed
- Moving select pieces of furniture after an event concludes to re-stage each space
COMPENSATION DETAILS
The Lead Server pay rate is $40/hour.
