The Role:
As a Bartender at Waypoint Public House, you will be the face of our bar, responsible for crafting delicious drinks and delivering outstanding service. Your primary duties will include:
Crafting exceptional beverages: Preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, beers, and wines, with precision.
Providing a superior guest experience: Greeting guests warmly, making recommendations, and engaging in friendly conversation to ensure they feel welcome and valued.
Maintaining a clean and organized bar: Keeping your workspace tidy, well-stocked, and adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Managing transactions: Accurately handling cash and credit card payments.
Collaborating with the team: Working seamlessly with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth service.
Staying knowledgeable: Keeping up-to-date on our beverage menu, including new additions and specials, and being able to answer guest questions confidently.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced environment.
Extensive knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and classic and modern cocktail recipes.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and multitask efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
A positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
Valid Monona Server's license (or ability to obtain one upon hire).
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
