We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized host/hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate is personable, able to manage a fast-paced environment, and ensures every guest feels welcomed and cared for from the moment they walk in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests promptly, courteously, and efficiently
- Manage the reservation book and waitlist, balancing guest flow with table availability
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about reservations, menu, and restaurant policies
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entryway
- Assist with greeting, directing, and managing special events as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality, front-of-house, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team player mentality
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
