Job Description As a line cook, you will be responsible for preparing and plating dishes to exacting standards, maintaining the highest level of quality, and ensuring each guest enjoys a flawless dining experience. Youll work closely with our culinary team to execute menu items efficiently and creatively while upholding strict safety and sanitation protocols.
Responsibilities
Prepare menu items according to recipes, plating guidelines, and chefs direction
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before service
Ensure all food is cooked and presented in a timely, consistent, and visually appealing manner
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Communicate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing food and supplies
Contribute ideas for specials, seasonal dishes, and menu improvements
Requirements
Minimum 12 years of experience as a line cook in a high-volume or upscale restaurant
Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
