Raymond Lawn Service LLC, located at 102 W 7th Avenue Trappe, PA 19426, phone number: +..., is seeking 12 temporary full-time seasonal janitor to work at 102 W 7th Avenue Trappe, PA 19426, from October 1, 2025 to April 15, 2026. Workers will remove snow from walkways, driveways, and parking lots using snow shovels and hand-pushed salt spreaders. No snow plows or motorized snow removal equipment will be used. "Clean facilities or sites" refers to cleaning indoor and outdoor common areas of commercial properties such as entryways, hallways, lobbies, break rooms, restrooms, and parking areas. Tasks include sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, wiping surfaces, restocking supplies, and picking up litter. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, and pulling are necessary when maneuvering commercial-grade trash bins, loading debris bags into dumpsters, and transporting supplies on rolling carts. Climbing ladders is required for cleaning light fixtures, ceiling vents, and windows. Manual dexterity is needed to handle tools like brooms, mops, squeegees, dusters, and spray bottles. Machinery operated includes upright and backpack vacuums, floor buffers, and wet/dry shop vacsused for deep cleaning floors and removing water or debris. Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, or parking areas using snow shovels or blowers, or spread snow-melting chemicals. Clean facilities or sites. Gather and empty trash. Gather supplies and equipment used in cleaning and maintenance duties.
Job Requirements
No prior education is needed; however, 3 months of janitorial or snow cleaning work experience is required. Some weekend work required. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Prolonged standing, walking on slippery surfaces, and navigating large areas. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, and pulling heavy equipment. Climbing ladders, manual dexterity for handling tools, and operating machinery. Endurance for extended periods in various weather conditions, including cold and wet environments.
Salary/Wages/Benefits
$18.23 an hour weekly, or approximately 40 hours per week, up to 20 overtime hours may be offered, however are not guaranteed. From Monday through Friday 6AM - 6PM Applicants may be offered more than advertised. The wage rate may vary based on experience and/or merit. $27.35/hr for overtime. All deductions from the worker's paycheck will be made as required by law. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages and pay weekly by check. Any advances will be deducted with the consent of the employee.
If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. In the first workweek, daily subsistence for travel to the place of employment will be reimbursed at a rate of at least $16.28/day to a maximum of $68.00/day with receipts. Also, workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visas, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). The employer will provide workers without charge or deposit charge for all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
