Aerotek: Janitor Job Description As a janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within operating rooms and common areas. Your duties will include removing trash and ensuring a sanitary environment. Responsibilities Clean and disinfect operating rooms and emergency rooms. Maintain cleanliness in common areas. Remove trash and waste in a timely manner. Perform tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming. Ensure all areas are sanitized and free from contaminants. Essential Skills Proficiency in cleaning, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming. Experience in housekeeping, janitorial, and custodial tasks. Ability to disinfect and sanitize various environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have a valid driver's license and access to a car. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability are essential. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position is set in a hospital environment, specifically in operating and emergency rooms. A uniform, which includes a scrub top, is provided. The role operates across all three shifts, with varying hours from Monday to Friday, starting as early as 5:00 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Orefield, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $15.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
