Haymaker now hiring Barback/Support

Haymaker, voted Best Austin Sports Bar by Austin Chronicle readers in 2018, 2019, and 2022, is now hiring part time, year round Barbacks/Support. We are a fun, well established fast paced/high volume neighborhood bar with a focus on sports, craft beer, cocktails and good food.

!!!! We're having a Hiring Event this Wednesday, March 1st from 11am to 4pm to gear up for March Madness, SXSW, EPL Soccer, NBA, NHL Playoffs & before we know it MLB season, so you're guaranteed to make great $$$ right out of training. Requirements:

Must have a good attitude and be a team player

Must be able to work on your feet for 8 to 10hrs and be able to lift up to 60+ lbs

Must have TABC and Food Handler certifications

Barback and/or busser experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person with a good attitude, work ethic and team mentality.

Duties include:

Barbacking: Assisting bartenders and management with all bar support duties such as cleaning, stocking, changing kegs & keeping beer walk-inanized, taking out trash and recycle,...

Bussing: Supporting servers, bussing tables, light janitorial duties,...

Support: Assisting and supporting management to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Compensation:

$10hr plus server and bar tip out

$100 signing bonus after 30 days of employment
