Custodian

Join our dedicated team as a Custodian at USfalcon in Newport News, VA . In this role, you will maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring that all facilities are well-kept and operational for staff and visitors. Your work will directly contribute to the comfort and efficiency of our workspaces, supporting daily operations for our valued customers.

Essential Duties:

Cleaning & Maintenance

• Clean and maintain windows, remove cobwebs, and ensure all office windows are spotless.
• Vacuum foyers, halls, and offices; sweep stairwells and non-carpeted floors.
• Mop floors and perform general dusting throughout office spaces.
• Clean water fountains and maintain hygiene in break and copier rooms.
• Unclog sinks, toilets, and other plumbing as needed.
• Empty office trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately.

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special cleaning duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained to meet safety and hygiene standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate certain vehicles (must be 21 years of age or older).
• Ability to lift, twist, walk, and reach frequently.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for up to 8 hours a day.
• Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 55 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Ability to work in varied environmental conditions and climates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).

Education & Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
