Job Summary

The job of "Cafeteria Worker is for the purpose/s of preparing and distributing

food items for consumption by students and school personnel and maintaining facilities and equipment in a sanitary condition.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must obtain Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment.

Proof of HS Graduation

Comments and Other Information

6.0 hours per day/ 180 days per year at Big Bear Middle School

If a Voluntary Transfer Request is received and accepted from a current employee with same classification/hours, it will open up a position at another site.

Successful applicants must obtain and/or provide the following before beginning employment:

Fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and/or FBI

Proof of Tuberculosis clearance

Social Security Card for payroll purposes

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Employment with the Bear Valley Unified School District is not complete or official until applicants meet all pre-employment requirements, including Governing Board approval.
