From globally acclaimed chef Ignacio Mattos, Altro Paradiso is an Italian restaurant in the heart of SoHo and an essential New York City dining destination. The restaurants menu draws inspiration from several Italian regions, celebrating timeless craftsmanship throughout, while the rooms high ceilings and glimmering brass bar contribute to a lively nightly atmosphere. Since opening in 2016, Altro has garnered many devoted regulars, ranging from neighborhood residents to travelers who treat the restaurant like a second home whenever theyre in town.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team. This role requires weekend availability .
The Bartender is responsible for crafting beverages and delivering warm, attentive service to guests at the bar. Youll work closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure an exceptional guest experience, uphold cleanliness and organization, and maintain a deep understanding of the bar program.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cocktails and beverages with consistency, care, and attention to detail
Provide engaging and informed hospitality to guests seated at the bar
Recommend drinks and pairings based on guest preferences and the menu
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar station
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and seamless service
Uphold all safety, sanitation, and compliance standards
What Were Looking For:
Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, and classic and contemporary cocktails
A team player with excellent communication and multitasking skills
Passion for hospitality and guest interaction in a fast-paced environment
