Range Life is a neighborhood and destination restaurant in downtown Livermore, and we are looking for talented and hardworking part-time servers for 2 to 3 shifts per week! We are a locally & seasonally focused full-service restaurant serving elevated California style cuisine and celebrating close relationships with farmers, ranchers & fishermen. We serve seasonally focused craft cocktails and have a dynamic wine list, and have been recommended in the Michelin Guide since 2019. We are looking for an experienced server who is passionate about food, spirits, and wine to join our team and uphold our high standards of refined service in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Our high check averages result in substantial tip averages for our pooled front of house team. A minimum of two years current or recent serving experience in a full service restaurant is required. Candidates with experience in fine dining and/or chef-driven restaurants is preferred.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Ability to provide warm, professional & knowledgeable service in a high intensity work environment.
- Heightened sense of awareness & great attention to detail
- Minimum two years serving experience, preferably in chef-driven restaurants
- Self-starter with excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic
- Possess basic wine service skills and knowledge
- Have an understanding of Northern California produce
- Should have working knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails and spirits with a willingness to learn more
- Some weekend availability is required
- Servers are expected to maintain and be able to communicate knowledge of all food, wine, and cocktail menus as well as preparation methods and techniques
