About the Role:
The Part Time Janitor plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our Saginaw Division. The janitor will be responsible for routine cleaning tasks, waste disposal, and minor maintenance duties, ensuring that the facility remains orderly and presentable at all times. Working part-time, the role requires flexibility and reliability to cover scheduled shifts effectively while supporting the broader facility management team. Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and the ability to use them safely.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a consumer support or office environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning and sanitation.
- Certification in cleaning or janitorial services.

Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors and surfaces in offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the facility management team promptly.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down furniture or equipment for meetings or events as required.
