Job Description and Duties

Perform routine preventative maintenance on of small machinery and make recommendations for repairs/service as needed. Monitor the buildings listed above, and their systems, to ensure the integrity of the building. Perform minor repairs including maintenance of lights, moving of furniture/equipment and supplies. Maintain landscaping to include weeding, mowing, clean gutters, watering, inspection and repair of sprinkler system, sweeping, debris pick-up, washing of buildings and structures. Perform minor painting and spackle repair to structures. Minor repair of floors, windows, ceilings, and doors. Repairs to counters, chairs, benches, partitions, and other wood or metal structures such as out-buildings/storage sheds. Clean departmental vehicles. This includes washing and waxing the exterior, washing windows inside and out, vacuuming and washing the rear storage area/trunk and interior. Assist the Area Automotive Technician II, on a limited basis, by assisting with transportation of vehicles to dealerships and/or repair facilities from Willow Creek Resident Post and Humboldt Area. Perform light vehicle maintenance duties under the supervision of the Automotive Technician II, or the Administrative Sergeant. Assist the Automotive Technician II with record keeping duties and inventory control. Assume the duties of the Janitor or Automotive Technician II as needed in their absence. Performs other job-related duties as assigned/required. Receive and disperse supplies, assist with equipment inventories.

Working Conditions

Maintains overall cleanliness, performs landscape maintenance. Maintains cleanliness of Buckhorn and Little River scales, and Willow Creek RP as needed.
