Position Summary
The host is responsible for greeting and seating all guests as well as taking reservations, organizing the reservation software and assisting elsewhere in the restaurant as needed.
This position requires heavy customer contact and excellent service skills. Positive attitude is required at all times in order to ensure the return of our customers who are the focus of our business. Patience, analytical problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure are important skills
Weekend availability is required for this position!!! This is a part-time position for 2-4 shifts per week that would be primarily on weekends. A willingness to work doubles is a plus.
Additional Responsibilities
-Complete specific side-work, as determined by management
-Retain complete knowledge of restaurants food and beverage menu and preparation
-Enter and complete customers information into our reservation system
-Clear and reset tables
-Answer the phone and provide accurate information to guests.
Qualifications
-Customer service and/or restaurant experience. Previous host experience preferred.
-Ability to learn and use company computer systems (OpenTable & Toast POS)
-Ability to coordinate multiple activities with attention to detail
-Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Compensation:
This is a tipped position, hourly wage is $18 per hour, with tips total compensations averages out to $25-$30 per hour.
