Will provide a high quality of service in Housekeeping and Hospitality for our guests. Interact with guests daily to ensure that they have a memorable Alaskan fishing experience. Work within established guidelines and policies regarding safety, sanitation and accident prevention principles. You will meet and greet guests on turnover day to ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere at the lodge. This upbeat attitude and ambiance is to be maintained throughout the duration of their stay. Maintain the cleanliness and resupply of guest rooms, hallways, bathrooms, lounge, and dining areas, common areas and staff areas. Laundry duties associated with room service. may be asked to act as a server in the dining room during meals if needed. it is essential that rooms and areas are set, and cleaned in the manner directed by the Hospitality Lead, GM or Chef for each room, area or dining room for period of service. Communicates effectively with professionally with all other departments. Will keep the department lead informed about any changes/requests needed by guests. Will assist with the arrival and unloading of the Provider each week and guest luggage upon their arrival. During the season we work 7 days a week with breaks in the middle of the day. All of our employees will be required to take a drug test and we operate random drug testing throughout the season. Our position is very remote, therefore it is important to be healthy with a level of awareness for your surroundings. We provide room and board as well as sharing in the shoreside tips. Remote employment is not for everyone, and working 7 days straight can be taxing, so be sure you are truly interested in this experience before applying.
