Deli Clerk - Crown Point Broadway

Summary: As a Deli associe, some of your duties will include slicing deli mes and cheeses to order, frying and baking chicken and other products, preparing sandwiches, salads, entrees and more. You will provide product suggestions and assist customers with special orders while you provide our customers with outstanding customer service. You will stock cases and ensure th our customers have a variety of high-quality deli items to choose from. You will ensure complete compliance with food safety and sanition requirements throughout your daily work. You will clean and sanitize dishes, food preparion areas, and equipment. In some areas, you may be required to obtain a food handler's certificion.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Deli Clerk activities:

* Assist customers

* Stock and rote product

* Inspect deli products for freshness

* Face merchandise in department

* Opere me slicer

* Opere merchandise scale

* Opere stove/oven/fryer

Other activities:

* Take orders

* Build displays

* Package items for sale

* Clean/sanitize department, backroom and cooler/freezer

* Change fryer oil

Knowledge Requirements: A positive customer service titude & pleasant personality, effective memory skills, excellent hand eye coordinion, dependability, ability to follow directions & a strong willingness to learn.
