We are hiring a Custodian to join our Maintenance team! This position will provide custodial and janitorial services to the Clinic while using safety and infection control precautions when performing custodial duties. The scheduled hours for this position are 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and the selected candidate may work at any OKCIC locations.
Applicants claiming Indian Preference must complete the full application and must provide documentation verifying eligibility (such as a tribal enrollment card or Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB)).
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Daily janitorial duties
Empties waste receptacles; sweeps, dusts or wet mops floors; cleans and disinfects toilets, sinks, water fountains and telephones. Replenish the supply of towels, toilet tissue and soap in each restroom.
Washes windows at receptionist desk and patient entry areas.
Disinfects chairs and reception desk surfaces in lobby and other departments; disinfects tables in examination rooms to ensure sanitation.
Dusts stationary fixtures; dusts window sills and window treatments.
Weekly janitorial duties
Washes, disinfects, waxes and buffs floors; strips wax, using extra effort in corners and floor boards.
Requests supplies as needed.
Maintains all equipment and supplies used by custodial staff.
Drives GSA-issued vehicles as needed.

Experience in operating cleaning tools and powered waxing and buffing equipment preferred.
Valid, current Oklahoma driver’s license. Acceptable driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years).
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to push/pull on a cart 25 pounds on an equipment cart or dolly.
