Work Schedule:
The primary schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, with a late afternoon shift. The hiring manager will determine the exact hours for this position. Some flexibility with the schedule is required, depending on staffing needs and college events. This is a part-time position that does not exceed 29 hours per week

Job Description:Custodial staff is responsible for the daily cleaning & sanitizing of the Laurel Ridge Campus. They use cleaning chemicals and equipment effectively and safely to meet the standards of Laurel Ridge Community College. Custodial staff is expected to be able to work independently as well as a team unit when needed to accomplish these goals.
Compensation :
The hourly pay range for this position is $13.63-$17.70, however, actual starting hourly rate will commensurate with education, credentials, and/or experience. The position is part time and as such cannot exceed 29 hours per week and is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However, the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies.

- Physical ability to do manual labor
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, with help if needed
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to stand for extended time periods
- Ability to follow written and oral instruction
- Thorough knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals/materials
- Basic computer skills
