Five Acres is now open in the heart of Rockefeller Center! This is Greg Baxtrom's new addition to the Olmsted, Petite Patate, and Patti Anns family and his first venture in Manhattan!
Rockefeller hustle and bustle with the approchability of a Brooklyn neighborhood restaurant
As a SERVER at Five Acres, you narrate the dining experience for our guests. Working in a team environment, Bartenders to ensure each table has an authentic and memorable experience. You will be expected to know our menu in and out, be aware of allergens and procedures to ensure the safety of our guests with food restrictions, and give true hospitality to all who you interact with, co-worker, guest, or passer-by.
Candidate prerequisites:
- Proficiency in steps of service. Experience with open hand/fine dining a plus.
- We are a teamwork focused restaurant and expect you to be able and willing to work as part of a that team.
- High level of interest in food & beverage. Our menus change seasonally and we look forward to each seasons changes.
- Creative and self-motivated problem solver.
- Passionate about interacting with guests.
Additional requirements:
- Must be able to lift/move up to 10lbs, frequently lift/move up to 25lbs, and occasionally lift/move up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously
Compensation Details:
- Compensation: Hourly, plus tips

About us:
Chef Greg Baxtroms first restaurant Olmsted was a James Beard Awards Finalist for Best New Restaurant in 2017. The owners started the NYC Hospitality Coalition, a food bank for those impacted by COVID-19, and the Black Entrepreneur Series pop-up in the space of Maison Yaki (our sister restaurant) this year.
