Part-Time Custodian - Day Shift

Chesterfield Township School District is seeking a dedicated and reliable Part -Time Custodian for Day Shift to join our facilities team.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods
• Familiarity with outdoor grounds care
• Understanding of proper handling procedures for hazardous materials
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
• Basic computer skills required
• Snow removal duties required

Additional Requirements:

• Successful completion of a criminal history background check
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
• Physical examination conducted by a physician

Schedule & Responsibilities:

• Part-time, 25 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Daily custodial responsibilities include general cleaning of school buildings and grounds
• Additional duties as assigned

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting hourly rate: Step 0 - $24.84
• Paid sick, personal, and vacation days
