We are hiring a Reliability Engineer responsible for implementing strategies to optimize asset lifecycle, minimize downtime, and improve overall operational efficiency.

As a Maintenance Reliability Engineer, you will assume the responsibility to implement strategies to optimize asset lifecycle, minimize downtime, and improve overall operational efficiency. Additionally, this role will utilize analytics and statistical expertise to enhance asset availability, developing strategically optimized and reliable maintenance plans to augment process capability and increase production capacity. This position reports to the Manager PCM & Reliability.

What you will do:

- Implement advanced predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, ultrasound, lubrication, thermography) to proactively detect and prevent equipment failures.

- Analyze equipment reliability and performance data using reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) to identify failure modes and drive proactive strategies.

- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives focused on asset reliability, performance optimization, and cost savings.

- Lead reliability-focused projects aimed at minimizing downtime, extending asset lifecycles, and integrating reliability into design and planning phases.

- Define and execute strategies in tribology and lubrication , including diagnostics like thermography, corrosion analysis, and ultrasonography to ensure asset integrity.

- Apply Life Cycle Costing and cost analysis to support modernization efforts, optimize resource use, and guide investment decisions without compromising reliability.

- Drive digital transformation through IPS Reliability methods, AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics (Six Sigma, FMEA, FEMECA) to enhance predictive maintenance and operational efficiency.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Proven experience as a Reliability Engineer or similar role in industrial/manufacturing settings

  • Strong knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles and techniques

  • Proficiency with predictive maintenance tools and technologies, reliability software, and data analysis tools.

  • Certification in Reliability Engineering (CRE) or equivalent

Pay Range:

$81,680.00-$108,906.67 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
