Lead Food Service Attendant (day shift) and full - time available) at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center

Leads assist department supervisors by ensuring that Food Service staff are providing a high level of customer service for patients, family members, volunteers, physicians and staff. Must have comprehensive knowledge of, and be compliant with, specified regulatory requirements, and food safety and sanitation regulations for food service in a health care environment. Assists in monitoring the cleanliness and sanitation of area(s) of responsibility. Adhere to County/State Health department, hospital, and department standards, policies and procedures at all times. This lead position trains, coaches and communicates professionally and objectively in order to motivate and lead the team. Leads perform all duties in a manner which promotes and encourages a productive team environment.

Required Qualifications:

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.

National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire.

ServSafe Manager Certification within 6 months (180 days) of hire.

Production and Retail Leads: 3 years of experience working in a high volume, full service restaurant or institutional food service facility.

2 years of experience using food production software (i.e. Computrition), process orders essential for food operations, print necessary reports and update recipes in the data base.

  • Department of Human Services (DHS) background check is required for this position
