At Milwaukie pizzapany we strive to create a fun environment for our customers and employees while learning how to work in the foodservice/hospitality industry. Candidates should have a willingness to learn and a strong desire to excel.
Duties include but not limited to:
-standing and walking for extended periods on concrete floors
-ability to lift 50 pounds (not very often)
-ability to memorize up to 25 recipes
-ability to engage with customers, use scripted language and make it your own message while sharing the story of our pizza andmitment to better everyday.
-Use of proper sanitation procedures including handwashing after any possible contamination, rotation, and temperature safety adnce.
-Act in a professional manner (show up on time, dressed appropriately, no long fingernails, no jewelry that might touch food, hair pulled back neatly so as not to get in food, stay engaged with customers, teammates, and the work at hand during the entirety of their shift and with a good attitude).
-Ability to stretch 22 oz doughball to 18 inches consistently during high volume
-Ability to Prioritize
-Ability to work on a stone deck oven, making corrections and adjustments as needed based on volume.
-Ability to always focus on training with a good attitude
-Ability to do basic prep functions making recipes from a recipe book
-Engage with customers when issues arise and fix so that everyone wants toe back
-Regularly demonstrate perfect performance during all work functions
-Alcohol Service
- Regular and detail cleaning/maintenance
Requirements: One year minimum experience in pizza restaurant. Current Health/Sanitation certification, Friday, Saturday, Sunday availability, Current OLCC license, and desire to learn and have fun while creating great food and service experiences.
Compensation 18-20$ per hour plus tips averaging 9$ per hour. Room for rapid growth for the right attitude/professionalism/work ethic including 4 day work weeks and other incentives.
