Step behind the bar at Chez Josephine , a beloved escape into the charm and glamour of old Paris. Since 1986, weve been a treasured Theater District destination, known for our French-American cuisine, nightly live piano, and the warm, spirited hospitality inspired by the legendary Josephine Baker.

Were seeking experienced bartenders who love creating memorable moments, one drink at a time. If you have a heart for hospitality and a hand for classic cocktails, we want to meet you.

• 2+ years of bartending experience in a fast-paced, upscale NYC restaurant or bar

• A gracious host and skilled multitasker, who thrives under pressure

• Comfortable with classic cocktails, wine, and guest interaction

• Organized, quick, and attentive to every detail

• Familiar with POS systems (Toast is a plus) and cash handling procedures

• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods

• Bonus if you speak French but personality and professionalism come first

• Welcome guests warmly and take pride in every drink you serve

• Prepare cocktails, wine, and beverages with accuracy and consistency

• Uphold all alcohol service and safety standards

• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing bar

• Support servers and collaborate with the front-of-house team

• Process payments and follow daily cash-out procedures

• Follow Department of Health and in-house sanitation standards
