Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and efficiently troubleshoot issues

• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and resolve potential problems

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain accurate records

• Collaborate with other departments to support overall hotel operations

• Maintain the hotel's landscaping and outdoor areas

• Monitor and manage inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies

• Address guest concerns with professionalism and timely service

• Oversee operation and upkeep of boilers, water heaters, and mechanical systems

• Perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms and public areas to minimize downtime

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repair work

• Maintain pool and spa facilities, including chemical balance and cleanliness (if applicable)

• Respond to emergency maintenance situations, including after-hours calls

• Contribute to planning and executing the hotel's maintenance budget and schedule

• Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives

• Keep maintenance areas, tools, and storage spaces clean and organized

• Train and support junior maintenance staff as needed

• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal or storm preparation

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in maintenance, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $17.00/Hr. - $18.50/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
