Salary: $16.00/hr + commensurate work calendar for the 24-25 school year.
Job Function:
Provides reception and clerical assistance for the efficient operation of the central administration office.
Duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned
by the Chief of Operations.
- Answers multiline telephone system; transfers calls, responds to inquiries, and/or takes messages as necessary.
- Provides quality customer care and support to parents, employees, community members, and vendors in person and over the telephone by responding to inquiries and/or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintains the general appearance of the front office.
- Makes reservations and maintains calendar for meeting rooms.
- Maintains an adequate inventory of office supplies that are used on a regular basis.
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Picks up, sorts and distributes mail to appropriate personnel.
- Responsible for general maintenance of kitchen (i.e. loading/unloading dishwasher, cleaning refrigerator, keeping paper goods stocked).
- Maintains an appropriate level of confidentiality of employee and student information.
- Prepares requisitions for coffee, kitchen, and other general office supplies.
- Assists other departments with ongoing and special projects as assigned.
- Provides regular feedback to the Chief regarding the status of projects or concerns.
- Performs any and all other duties as assigned by the Chief.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to grasp, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
- 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
