Full Time Night Custodian / Spare Bus Driver

Spruce Mountain High School

(8 hours per night for 260 nights per year / 5 night per week)

Description:

This position is a full time 8 hours, 260 day custodial position working nights. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning a section of the high school designated to them and also during basketball season to help clean the gymnasium after games. Custodial duties include, but are not limited to: general cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, floor care, moving furniture, etc. Hours for this position are: during the school year 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM and during the summer and workshop days 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, You may be asked to fill in to drive a bus route occasionally as well.

Qualifications:

• CDL B license with S endorsement - will train the right candidate, and candidate will have 6 months to obtain license if doesnt already have said license.
• Ability to perform custodial duties, and lift 50 pounds
• Obtain a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) through the Maine Department of Education (MDOE)
• Pre employment physical and drug test are required
• Knowledge of custodial duties and maintenance is a plus, but is not required
