Facilities Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
The Facilities Technician will be responsible for performing intermediate troubleshooting to repair and maintain all facility equipment, as well as installing new equipment. This role requires a keen eye for diagnosing mechanical problems and implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
**Responsibilities**
+ Repair and maintain facility equipment daily.
+ Diagnose mechanical problems and identify long-term solutions to eliminate recurrence.
+ Install equipment, ensuring that necessary safety standards are adhered to.
+ Document maintenance or installation work performed for submission to MPulse.
+ Manufacture parts for existing machines as needed.
+ Ensure that machinery is set up and ready to run in accordance with production schedules.
+ Keep department workstations and storage areas orderly and as clean as possible.
+ Assist in the completion and revisions of Preventive Maintenance tasks and documentation required in the Facility Department.
+ Maintain maintenance stock supplies and reorder as required.
+ Provide training to less experienced maintenance staff as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in maintenance technician, maintenance mechanics, preventative/corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting.
+ Proficiency in pneumatics, preventive maintenance, repair, PLCs, and fabrication.
+ Skill in maintenance, PMs, troubleshooting, maintenance, electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting.
+ Familiarity with installation and general repair of air handling equipment and support systems (electrical, air, water, HVAC).
+ General knowledge of GMPs, preventive maintenance documentation, and PLC technology.
+ Ability to read and decipher machine drawings (schematics).
+ Ability to work independently and problem-solve HVAC equipment to ensure efficient production.
+ Demonstrated aptitude to learn new equipment and understand PLC controller systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Some college or technical training preferred.
+ 3 - 7 years of related experience.
+ Experience working as a facilities technician in a Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) environment,
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
This is a swing shift. 12am-8pm Monday- Friday
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $74000.00/yr.
