Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a financial institution or consumer service environment.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning and maintenance.
• Certification in workplace safety or custodial training programs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal throughout the credit union premises.
• Maintain restrooms by replenishing supplies, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring they meet hygiene standards.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to the facility management team promptly.
• Set up and break down furniture or equipment for meetings and events as required.
• Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly to ensure a safe environment for all occupants.
