Live-in or Live-out Housekeeper/Cook - Brooklyn, NY

Busy couple is seeking a professional live-in or live-out Housekeeper/Cook to work primarily at their residence in Brooklyn Heights, NY and also live-in and work at their Cape Cod home during the summer months (late June through late August). Responsibilities include full-charge housekeeping, deep cleaning, care of fine art and silver, laundry, ironing and steaming, and handling delicate fabrics. Other duties involve maintaining household organization, managing mail and packages, vendor management, and running errands (car provided). Candidate must be able to cook simple lunches and dinners, occasional breakfasts, follow recipes, and serve meals as needed for two principals. During the winter months, when the principals travel, the focus will shift to organizing projects and deep cleaning. Must have a valid driver's license, a strong command of English, formal home experience, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ideal candidate is proactive, has a positive attitude and strong communication skills. There are no pets in the household. Private live-in accommodations are provided in both Brooklyn Heights and Cape Cod. Schedule is Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm but must have flexibility for occasional weekends for events or dinners. Compensation is $95K-$110K DOE, with PTO, health insurance, and additional benefits offered after three months.
