Who we are:

We serve the people of ourmunity. All are wee. Ourmunity is not only the food-obsessed, we bake and break bread with those who are hungry, those who are curious, and those who are simply passing through. Saint Bread is an irreverent and fun craft bakery & cafe on the picturesque waterfront near the University of Washington, in the historic Jensen Marina's former machine shop. We serve Proud Mary coffee and a unique menu with Japanese, European and American influences, along with fresh pastries and bread. We are open Monday - Saturday 7:30am-6:00pm, and Sundays from 7:30am - 3:00pm.

Experience & Required Skills

1 year of barista/counter service preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate

Passionate about hospitality, presentation, and the little details that make a big difference

Understanding of proper food handling techniques & safety

Understanding of basic math

Must be able to lift up to 25lbs

Must be able to stand for 8 hour shifts

Job Duties of Barista/Counter Service

Upholding Saint Bread's positive, energetic and inclusive culture in every interaction

Weing guests & answering any questions that may arise; help guests navigate the menu, take orders confidently, and ensure they have everything they need

Have a full understanding of all beverage and food offerings

Maintaining a clean space for guests and coworkers

Kind, clear, and inclusive inmunication

Work independently in both supervised and unsupervised settings

Able to work at a fast pace

Able to plan out workday and aplish multiple tasks

Have a valid WA food handler's permit & MAST certificate

Able to maintainanized and sanitary work station

Tasting all products to ensure quality

Maintaining a well-stocked station and preparing for daily service
