Experienced restaurant operators with locations in Manhattan are partnering with a local family of entrepreneurs to build, from scratch, a brand-new destination restaurant with a state-of-the-art kitchen in the heart of the Hudson Valley, located in a prime and historic part of Pawling.

Who We re Looking For

We are looking for an experienced restaurant professional to join our opening team as Restaurant General Manager. The right person for this job has a passion for hospitality and service, is looking for a new and exciting opportunity outside of NYC, and is up for the challenge of delivering an incredible experience for those visiting from near and far. Responsibilities and Expectations

Oversight of all aspects of front-of-house service and overall operations

us in cultivating a culture of high level hospitality for both our guests and our team

Maintain excellence and cleanliness of the dining room

Provide support to all service staff and actively participate in the cycle of service as needed.

Ensure Payroll process ispleted accurately, on time and according to business/accounting procedures.

Ensure DOL/Health Departmentpliance as it pertains to the operation.

Provide feedback and guidance with excellence and hospitality in mind to our team

Consistently looks for internal and external opportunities to build team

Uphold and continually improve service standards and customer experience

Hire, train, manage and schedule FOH team

Manage guest relations, reservations, and databases

Lead daily restaurant pre-service and floor team preparations

Provide detailed daily managerial and service reports to ownership

Implementpany disciplinary measures as appropriate to staff circumstances

Collaborate with ownership on development of catering and buyout opportunities

Collaborate with finance team and ownership on business administration functions and analysis of the financial health of the business (i.e. ordering, invoice approval, vendor payments, cash drops, P&L review, etc.)

Ensure Reservation Systems are properly setup and running at all times

All Maintenance issues reported and handled in timely manner

Ensure all food & beverage menu items are presented consistently, accurately, and with integrity

Ensure proper pars and inventory management systems are in place, keep active/running total/par

Required Experience

A good attitude!

2-4+ years dining room experience in a hospitality management position

Excellent food and beverage knowledge

Strong passion for and skill in hospitality and service

Excellent verbal & writtenmunication

Ability and willingness to learn

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)

Compensation

Annual salary of $80,000 - $100,000 dependent on experience

Incentive basedpensation negotiable
