Job Details Banquet Cook Job ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & Cooking
Prepare and cook food for large groups according to banquet event orders (BEOs), recipes, and standards.
Ensure quality, taste, and presentation of all menu items.
Execute meal service for buffets, plated dinners, cocktail receptions, and other banquet formats.
Event Execution
Coordinate timing and delivery of meals with banquet servers and event staff.
Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet kitchen stations before and after service.
Adapt to last-minute menu changes or special guest requests.
Health & Safety Compliance
Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices in accordance with health department regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation and kitchen environment.
Monitor food temperatures and cooling/heating methods to ensure safe service.
Inventory & Equipment
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or needs to the Banquet Chef.
Properly handle, clean, and store kitchen tools, equipment, and leftovers.
Team Collaboration
Work effectively with other cooks, kitchen staff, and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth banquet operations.
Support other kitchen areas or tasks as needed, including prep for other events or restaurant service.
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $21.00)
