Beefbar New York is seeking experienced, polished Servers with a passion for hospitality and fine dining. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of upscale service and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. As a Server, youll deliver exceptional guest experiences, anticipate needs, and contribute to the flow of our dining room with a positive, team-focused mindset.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Arrive on time, prepared, and with a positive, professional attitude

• Greet guests warmly and provide knowledgeable, attentive service

• Master our food and beverage menus, including preparation and ingredients

• Adhere to all service standards and protocols as outlined in the Employee Handbook

• Accurately take and enter orders; serve food and beverages swiftly and gracefully

• Uphold legal standards for responsible alcohol service always check IDs

• Assist with running food, clearing tables, and maintaining the dining room

• Communicate effectively with teammates and management

• Respond quickly to guest needs and concerns; escalate issues to management when necessary

• Follow allergy protocols and food safety guidelines diligently

• Perform side work, cleaning duties, and contribute to opening/closing tasks

• Be available and responsive to emails, texts, and team communications

• Be prepared to fill in as a support or server role when needed

Essential Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an upscale, high-volume restaurant

• Deep knowledge of hospitality, food, and beverage service

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; stand, walk, and bend for long periods

• Fluent in English; strong communication skills (spoken and written)

• Flexible availability including holidays and late nights

• Excellent grooming and professional presentation

• Understanding of workplace safety procedures and DOH compliance

Compensation: Hourly ($11.00) plus tips
