Personal Laundry Assistant

Wage:

• $16/hr

Responsibilities:

• Creates and maintains a weekly list and schedule of Residents receiving service.
• Labels Residents clothing.
• Washes soiled items in laundry equipment.
• Dries clothing carefully to assure high standard of appearance.
• Folds laundry and also hangs clothing for a high standard of appearance.
• Returns items to Resident rooms and places them in appropriate receptacles or cabinets.
• Maintains a friendly working relationship with Residents and other Team Members.
• Turns information into Lead Housekeeper each month on services to be billed by accounting.
• Responsible to keep laundry rooms clean and orderly.
• Assists Supervisor in supply managements of soaps, disinfectants, etc.
• Does light ironing.
• Mends torn articles.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Hours:

• 40 hrs/week

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
• Plus every other holiday
